Abstract: An investigation on the process of carbon fiber oxidation at high temperature atmosphere in air was done by means of the non-isothermal multi-heating rates, The oxidation kinetics and models were given out in the form of the empirical equations. Based on them,it is possible to predicte successfully the weight loss, oxidation rate and life-time of the carbon fiber during the process under different conditions of the temperature (T1,T2) and interval(t).
