    The title complex was prepared and its crystal structure was determined.The crystal is space group P1with parameters:a=1.19l 1(2) nm,b=1.5322(2) nm,c=1.0492(2) nm,a=108.98(1)°,β=107.04(1)°,γ=70.25(1)°,Z=2,T=296Kand the final R=0.0541 for 3998 observed reflections.The Cu atom is five-coordinated with a distorted trigonal bipyramid.Four nitrogen atoms from two 2,2'-dipyridyl ligands and one carboxyl oxygen atom from benzilate form a distorted trigonal plane,while the other two nitrogen atoms from the two 2,2'-dipyridyl ligands occupy the two axial positions.The assignment in IRspectrum is discussed.

    183W NMRspectra were obtained for[La(AsW11O(39))2]11-, [La(As2W17O612 ]17-,[La (SiW9 Mo2O39)2 ]13-, [LaSb9W21O86]16-,[LaAs4W40O140]25- and α-,β-[(CeO )3·(SiW9O34)2]14- complexes.Tungsten NMRstudies showed that the Cs symmetry of the square antiprism for[La AsW11O39)2]11- and[La(As2W17O61)2]17-anions keep constant in aqueous solution; the lanthanide accupied the central S1 site in[LnSb9W21 O86]16- and [LnAs4W40O140]25- complexes,respectively,and lanthanide metal cations gave [(CeO)3·(SiW9O34)2]11- type of complexes with SiW9O3410-.

    To study the catalysis of polymolybdate,the title complex was synthesized by phenanthraquinone as the substrate,The molecular structure of the complex was determined by X-ray diffraction method.The crystal is monoclinic with space group P21/c,a=1,3149(5) nm,b=1.8666(8) nm,c=1.8903(3) nm,β=104.06(3)°,V=3.310(4) nm3,Z=2,Dc=1.521g/cm3.Independent reflections of 3505 were collected,in which 1382 were observed.The final R=0.078 and Rw=0.078.The result of structure analysis indicate that the complexes with different structures can be formed by phenanthraquinone as the ligand with the same polymolybdate under different experimental conditions.

    It was well known that high doses of lanthanons do harm to animal cells in various ways.In this paper the reactions between the lanthanons and the metallothionein(MT)──a heavy metal detoxication protein was studied.The experimental data supported the result that MTcan't bind to lanthanons either in vivo or in votro.In addition,the study proved that lanthanons can not introduce the synthesis of MTin rat liver,even when high doses(0.002%~0.0032%) lanthanum and europium salts were used.The possible reasons were discussed in this paper.

    Na2ZnSiO4 was synthesized by hydrothermal synthesis method at moderate temperature and pressure.Its thermal stability and ionic conductivity were investigated.The experimental results show that the compositions of starting materials have much influence on the crystallization of the products.Na2ZnSiO4 is a moderate ionic conducter with activation energy of 66.5kJ/mol and ionic conductivity of 5×10-2 S/cm at 390 ℃.

    Probe beam deflection(PBD) technique together with electrochemical techniques such as cyclic voltammetry was used to study the ion exchange in prussian blue(PB) film and its analogue indium hexacyanoferrate(InHCF) chemically modified electrodes.The ion exchange mechanism of PBwas verified as following: where on reduction in contact with an acidic KCl electrolyte,H+enter PBfilm before K+.Both the cations and anions participate concurrently in the redox process of InHCF,meanwhile K+ion plays a majr role in the whole charge transfer process of this film with increasing radii of anions.

    In this paper,the binary adsorption isotherms of acetone-n-hexane,toluene-n-hexane,benzene-n-hexane and n-pentane-n-hexane on silylanization silica gel are presented.The adsorption isotherms for pure gas are also obtained.It will be seen from the experimental results that the adsorption behavior of the vapor mixtures can be predicted from the isotherms of pure components.The extent of predominant adsorption can be predicted by the first layer adsorption heat of the individual pure components.

    The inclusion complex of 2-(5-bromo-2-pyridylazo)-5-diethylaminophenol with β-cyclodextrin cross-linking polymer could react with various metal ions to form adsorbing complexes.In this paper the related experiment conditions and adsorption mechanism of enriching trace copper and nickel have been investigated.The results showed that in pH 4~6 media the inclusion resin could enrich copper and nickel from dilute solutions.The multiple of enrichment were 50 and 200 for copper and nickel, respectively.

    The fluorescence characteristics of complexes of nalidixic acid with alkali earth metals(Mg,Ca,Sr and Ba) have been studied in this paper.It was found that in the pH 7~9 media the alkali earth metals ions could form stable fluorescent complexes.Their fluorescence intensities enhanced with the decrease of ionic radii of alkali earth metals.Among them the fluorescence intensity of magnesium-nalidixic acid system was 58 folds more than that of nalidixic acid itself.Anew method for the determination of nalidixic acid using the first order derivative fluorescence excitation spectrum has been developed.The detection limit was found to be 0.015μg/mL.This method has been used to determine nalidixic acid in human urine with recoveries of 96.6%~102.6%.

    Sandwich ELISAfor the dtection of Rotavirus(RV)as experimental model,the classical immune procedures were changed from double incubation system(DIS)into single incubation system(SIS) in which RVsample(Ag) and HRPlabeled anti-RV antiboty(Ab*) were added together into microwell coated by anti-RVantibody(Ab).After coincobation,the multilayer complex Ab-Ag-Ab* was formed on the inner surface of microwell.It was illustrated theroically that the enzyme amount in mutilayer complex Ab-Ag-Ab* was linearly related to the concentration of Ag binding site of RVin sample when the amount of Ab and Ab* were saturated and their affinites to Ag were assumed to be same.Anew method termed chemiluminescence single incubation multilayer immune technique(CL-SIMIT) was established on this porpose,in which HRPcatalyzing luminol-p-iodopenol-H2O2 reaction was as its detection system.Experiments showed that CL-SIMITcould acheive 4-fold sensitivity of CL-ELISAand 16-fold sensitivity of ELISA,and higher specificity than CL-ELISAtested with several uncorrelational antigens.Detection of 32 samples with ELISA,CL-ELISA,CL-SIMITshowed that the positive ratios were 12/32,12/32,17/32 respectively,while the results of CL-SIMITaccorded well with the clinical dignosis results(18/32).

    The temperature effect of microelectrode has been studied in detail.Anew simple method for the determination of the diffusion coefficient,activation energy and the catalytic rate constant on the basis of the temperature effect at the microdisk electrode has been developed.The experimental results for several systems are in a good agreement with those obtained by other methods in literatures.

    The ansa-zirconocene derivative tetramethyldisiloxandiyl bis(1-indenyl) zirconium dichloride(1) has been prepared by the reaction of the dilithium salt of 1,3-bis(1-indenyl) tetramethyldisiloxane with ZrCl4·2THF.After catalytic hydrogenation,the corresponding tetrahydroindenyl complex(2) has been formed.Both 1 and 2 have been shown by1H NMRspectra to be the mixture of the cis(meso) and trans(rac) isomers.The pure trans isomers 1t,2t and cis isomer 2c were obtained by recrystallization. The crystal structures of 1t and 2c were determined by X-ray diffraction. Both crystals of 1t and 2c are monoclinics,belonging to space groups P21/n(1t)and P21/c(2c).In the unit cell of 2c,one of the six-membered rings of the tetrahydroindenyl ligands has two different conformations which have the same probabilities.

    The alkyl phosphorchloridisocyanatidate(2) is a kind of bifunctional compound which has a high reactivity.We have reported a new efficient method to prepare a new kind of fused phosphorus heterocyclic compounds using the reaction of the bifunctional compound─alkyl phosphorchloridisocyanatidate(2)with 5-amino-3-benzylthio-1,2,4-triazole and its analogues(1).In this paper,the cyclization reaction of aryl phosphonochloridisocyanatidate(2) with 5-amino-3-benzylthio-1,2,4-triazole and its analogues 1 was described. Twelve 2-benzylthio-7-aryl(alkoxyl)-7-phospha-5,7-dioxo-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-1,2,4-triazolo[1,5a]triazines were synthesized. The structures were assigned on the basis of 1H NMR,31P NMR,IRsupported by satisfactory elemental analysis.The 1H NMRspectrum of 2-benzylthio-7-phenyl-7-phospha-5,7-dioxo-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-1,2,4-triazolo[1,5a ]triazine(3c) shows doublet at δ8.72 with the coupling constant 2JPCH=8.9 Hz, single peak at δ10.84 for NHadjacent to the heterocyclic moiety.In NMRof 3c, one singlet at δ 4.2,appearing in the lower field than in that of 2-benzylthio-7-alkoxyl-7-phospha-5,7-dioxo-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-1,2,4-triazolo[1,5a]triazines(3a,3b,3c,3f,3i, 3j) which could be attributed to the deshielding effect of the phenyl substituent, indicated one isomer.The strong(C=O) stretching absorption band at 1681 cm-1 indicated that 3c existed in the keto form instead of enolic form.The most probable mechanism of the cyclization reaction was proposed.Initially nucleophilic addition of NH2 group to the isocyanate group of 2 gives an intermediate 4,which undergoes cyclization by nucleophilic attack of 1-NHgroup on Pwith the cleavage of P-Cl bond.The cyclization yield of aryl phosphonochloridisocyanatidate is lower than that of alkyl phosphorchloridisocyanatidate which might be due to the steric influence of the aryl group.On the basis of 1H NMR,32P NMR,IRspectra,Z-configuration could be proposed.The preliminary biological tests show that some compounds have herbicidal activities.

    This review summarizes previous mechanistic studies on reactions of dihalocarbenes with carbonyl compounds where dihalocarbonyl Ylide was suggested to be the intermediate.The structural factors such as steric effects of substrates,electronic effects of substituents,Captodative effect of the carbonyl Ylide intermediate,and radius of the halogen atoms that influence the stabilities and conformations of the dihalocarbonyl Ylides and their following reaction pathways are also discussed.

    Anew n-hexadecyl-β-D-xylopyranoside(1) and a known compound cholest-5-en-3β-ol(2),were isolated from the red alga Laurencia karlae Zhang et Xia collected from the Nashan Islands in the South China Sea.Compound 1 is a white solid,C21H42O5,m.p.94.0~95.0℃,[a]D=-25.0℃(CHCl3,c 0.032).The structure of 1 was determined on the basis of elemental analysis,IR, MS,1H NMR,13C NMR,(DEPT),and 13C NMRdata in comparison with the known compounds.

    The photochemical reaction of 3-acetylcoumarin and its 7-acetyloxy,7-benzoyloxy,6-bromo and 5,6-benzo derivatives with indole in solid state gave only condensation products,while 3.acetyl-6-nitrocoumarin with indole gave ring-cleavage decarbonyl addition product in the solid state,3-Acetylcoumarin and its derivatives with indole can not undergo photochmical reaction in solution.The solid-state photochemical reaction shows a high selectivity.The effect of the nature of substituent and the position of substitution were also investigated,the withdrawing substituent facilitate the photoreaction and there is a higher reactivity of acetyl at position3 than at position 6 and 8.The structures of six new products were identified by IR, MS,1H NMRand elemental analvsis.

    This paper reports the preparation of twelve novel 2-alkyl-5-arylidene cyclopentenones and their derivatives,The structures of all compounds have been confirmed by elementary analysis,IR,1H NMRanalysis.Preliminary pharmacological test showed tl1at Ⅲ1,Ⅲ5,Ⅳ2 and Ⅳ3 given orally have a significant inhibiting effect on edema of mice ear induced by xylene.Further pharmacological examinations are in progress.

    The photoionization processes of dibromomethane have been investigated in the wavelength range 50~200 nm of synchrotron radiation.Based on the measured appearance potential(PA) of the parent ion.the adiabatic ionization potential(P1=10.23±0.01 eV) of the dibromomethane was obtained.Furtheremore,the dissociation energies(ED),the formation enthalpies(EF),the bond dissociation energies(EBD)and the related thermochemical data of the species have been derived from the observed appearance potentials of the ionic fragments,Associating the obtained hats of formation with the previous thermochemical data,the most possible chnnels of dissociative photoionization have been analysed.

    The effects of surfactant on aniline electropolymerization have been studied by cyclic voltammetry and potentiostatic step techniques.The experimental results show that the anionic micelle,i.e,sodium dodecylsulphate(SDS),can greatly catalyze the electropolymerization reaction of aniline and reduce its oxidation limited potential to +0.6 V(vs.SCE).In the anionic micellar media,the local concentration of aniline on the surface of electrode may be increased,and the aniline cation radicals are more stabilized in the hydrophobic micro-circumstance of micelle,which is available to avoid hydrolysis degradation of polyaniline(PAN) and enhance the stability of the PANfilm.The polymerized rate in the presence of 0.1 mol/L SDSincrease 25 times than that of solutions without SDS. When the solutions sontaining 10-4 mol/LSDS,the PAN/SDSfilm growth via a two-dimensional(2-D) instantaneous nucleation under the electro transfer kinetic controlled,and the resulting film have a compact morphology.However,with the addition of cationic surfactant solution,e.g.cetyltrimethylammonium bromid(CTAB),the aniline electropolymerization is severely hindered due to the charge rejection between the aniline cation radicals and the cationic micellar.

    The α-Fe2O3 ultrafine particles coated with a layer of stearic acid(ST) were prepared by phase transfer method.There is a significant red shift of optical absorption band edge with the decrease of size particles which exhibits the dielectric confinement effect. The effect of dielectric confinement on the electrochemical and photoelectrochemical properties of α-Fe2O3 ultrafine particles was investigated by using cyclic voltammetry and photocurrent measurement.The coating layer with smaller dielectric constant decreases the shielding to the electric lines,so that the platinum electrode deposed by the coated particles is more electrochemically reversible than by the naked particles.Acathodic photocurrent is observed with both kinds of particles in the region of-600~267 mV,but there is a fine distinction in the cathodic photocurrent of two kinds of electrodes,which comes from the dielectric confinement effect.Aweak anodic photocurrent is observed in the potential region of>260 mV.

    The structure of Electroless Ni-Palloy has been studied by using DTA,XRDand EXAFSmethods,The P 10%(weight percentage ratio) Ni-Pcoating is a non-crystal alloy.The action between Ni and Pis a convalent bond applied force,The lengths of Ni Ni and Ni Pbonds are 0.25 nm and 0.28 nm.The P 10% Ni-Pcoating after heat treatment at 400℃ is a mixture of Ni3Pand non-crystal Ni-P.The formation of nickel phosphonus likely structure is established by EXAFSand confirmed by experiments in contrast to DTAand XRDwhich does not provide more information.The extended X-ray absorption fine structure(EXAFS) spectrophotometry developed with the development of synchronous radiation light.It is very suitable for the studies of non-crystal alloy.The coordination environment of Ni and Pin Ni-Palloy coating has been measured by means of EXAFS.The degree of order in Ni-Palloy increases by the heat treatment.The loss of long-range order is even more pronounced with the increasing Pcontent in Ni-Pcoating.The local order around Ni in Ni-Palloy coating resembles that in Ni metal.The discription of structure may be useful for interpretation of the properties Ni-Pnon-crystal alloy coating from the view of molecular level.

    The structures and stabilities of six oxygen-centered radicals OCH=CHR(R=H,BH2,CN,F,OH,NH2) have been studied by using ab intio method at UHF/4-31Glevel,full optimized.The energies of stabilization of six radicals OCH=CHR(R=H,BH2,CN,F,OH,NH2) are 0.00,-75.97,1.11,0.76,22.06,40.65 kJ/mol,respectively.which indicated that the substituents OHand NH2 play a role of stabilization on the oxygencentered radical and BH2 play a role of de-stabilization.

    By using both optical emission spectroscopy and time-of-filght mass spectrometry,355 nm laser ablation of AgCl,CuCl and CuCl2 was investigated,The optical emission spectra of plasma plume produced by laser ablated AgCl and CuCl show that the Cu and Ag atomic emission dominates in the spectral region 300~500 nm.The observed sharp lines can be assigned by the transitions of excited metal atoms.The dependence of emission line intensity on the laser fluence implies that the multiphoton absorption plays an important role in the laser ablation process.The time-of-flight mass spectra show that mainly positive and negative ions produced by laser ablation are Ag+and Cl-,AgCl2-、Ag2Cl3- for AgCl.Cu+,Cu2Cl+、Cu3Cl2+ and Cl-,CuCl-,CuCl2-、Cu2Cl3-for CuCl,respectively.Possible mechanisms for the production of these ions in the UVlaser ablation process are discussed.

    The anodic process of copper in concentrated NaOHsolutions was studied by potential slow scan and galvanostatic methods,and angle dependent X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis.The result shows the second passive film on copper surface is made up of an inner Cu2Olayer followed by a CuO-Cu(OH)2 layer,and CuO/Cu(OH)2 ratio decreases with the probed depth decreasing,whereas adsorbed water increasing.An electrochemical oxidation-surface transition model about the passivating film formation has been proposed.

    The kinetic parameters of the three steps of thermal decomposition of the BaTiO(C2O4)2·4H2O are calculated according to the Broido's linearized simple graphical procedure.It is shown that three-step-reaction orders are 2,2,0;the activation energies are 96.8,165.1,172.2kJ/mol and that the frequency factors are 1.03×1011,5.64×108,2.63 ×106s-1,respectively.The conditions of the process of thermal treatment are optimized according to the kinetic parameters.The powder obtained are ultrafine BaTiO3 with a high purity.

    The effect of β-diketone and β-triketone,such as 3-benzy1-2,4-pentanedione(BzyAcAc),benzoylacetone(BzAc),dibenzoylmethane(DBzM) and 3-benzoy1-2,4-pentanedione(BzAcAc),on polymerization of acrylamide(AAM) initiated by ceric ion was investigated.The determination of polymerization rate and overall activation energy showed that theseβ-diketones(orβ-triketone) coupled with ceric ion can form very active redox systems.The structures of free radicals resulting from these systems were monitored by radical trapping technique and ESRspectra,and the β-diketone fragments in polyacrylonitrile initiated by above mentioned systems were detected by means of FTIRspectra end group analysis.The initiating mechanisms of ceric ion/β-diketone(orβ-triketone) systems were proposed.

    The conformation transition of silk fibroin in the silk glands of Bombyx mori was studied by scanning tunneling microscopy. The dilute aqueous solution of fibroin synthesized in the posterior glands is in a form of random coils,which are transformed into coiled-coil and later into individual α-helices in the middle glands.During spinning,they turned into β-strands and finally to β-sheets,The formation of liquid crystalline state aids the process of spinning.The STMimages were taken dozens of time for each sample at different spots,which can represent the general nature of fibroin in the glands of silkworm.So far as we know,this is the first time to have the individual fibroin,or more specifically,the α-helix and β-sheet structure of protein,to be imaged.

    Electrochemical impedance spectra were measured for the aluminum electrodes coated with epoxy resin films of various different crosslinking densities in 0.5 mol/L NaCl solution(room temperature) at open circuit potential.By fitting the Nyquist curves with the equivalent circuit generally used for the coated electrode,the values of the film resistance,the film capacitance,the electrochemical reaction resistance and the double layer capacitance were obtained and used to discuss the relationship between the structure and the water absorption of epoxy resins.It is found that the amount of the water absorbed in the cured epoxy resins increases with increasing extent of cure.
