Synthesis and Crystal Structure of[(n-C4H9)4H9)4N]2[(OC14H8O)2Mo4O10(OCH3)2]

Abstract

Abstract: To study the catalysis of polymolybdate,the title complex was synthesized by phenanthraquinone as the substrate,The molecular structure of the complex was determined by X-ray diffraction method.The crystal is monoclinic with space group P2₁/c,a=1,3149(5) nm,b=1.8666(8) nm,c=1.8903(3) nm,β=104.06(3)°,V=3.310(4) nm³,Z=2,D_c=1.521g/cm³.Independent reflections of 3505 were collected,in which 1382 were observed.The final R=0.078 and R_w=0.078.The result of structure analysis indicate that the complexes with different structures can be formed by phenanthraquinone as the ligand with the same polymolybdate under different experimental conditions.
