Studies on Characteristics and Conductivity of 1,3,6,11,13,18,28,31-Octabromofullerene-C60LB Films

Abstract: The molecular behavior of the substituted fullerene 1,3,6,11,13,18,28,31-octabromofullerene(C60Br8) on the air-water interface is described. It is shown that the highquality LBfilms of the compound can be constructed onto a variety of solid substrates.An ESRobservation exhibits a signal with g=2.0024 and ΔH=2×10-4 Tdue to C60+ Electronic absorption spectra show several strong hands from 224 to 570 nm,the maximum hand is at the position of 570 nm,The electrical conductivity studies suggest that the conductivity is dependent on the layer numbers of LBfilm and temperature.The thermal activation energy is 0.285 eV.
