The Synthesis and Drug Release Property of Polyorganosiloxanes Containing Pendant Long Alkyl Ester and Cholesteryl Ester Groups

Abstract

Abstract: The synthesis and phase transition property of polyorganosiloxanes containing pendant long alkyl ester and cholesteryl ester groups were studied.Drug release property of the blended rubber film of polyorganosiloxanes with PDMSwas also investigated.The results showed that the permeation rate of levonorgesterel(LNG) through the blended rubber film was accelerated as the transform of crystalline phase to liquid crystalline phase of the title polyorganosiloxanes.
