Abstract: Butenylzinc chloride was added to ω-iodo terminal alkynes in the absence of any kinds of transition metal complexes.The reactions proceed with clean allylic rearrangement and a mechanism via six-centered transition state is proposed. Some new monocyclic and bicyclic alkenes(13)were synthesized via allylzincation.
