A Novel Method of Site Determination of Carbon Dioxide in Air

Abstract: A home-designed portable gas chromatograph with a microwave induced plasma ionization detector(MIPID) has been developed.With Ar as carrier gas and support gas, a new method for the site determination of carbon dioxide(CO2) in air is described.The detection limit for CO2 is 3.5×10-8g.The method has been used to analyze the practical samples and the results are very satisfactory.
