Abstract: The theoretical current equations of the new pulsed voltammetric technique; normal dual pulse superimposed four potential step differential voltammetry, proposed by the authors, for reversible electrode processes have been deduced based on the superimposition princilpe. The validity of the current equations was verified by experiments in both amalgam and non-amalgam formation systems. The effects of scan waveform parameters, such as scan increment (ES), pulse height (AE), pulse period(T) etc., on the peak current and peak shape have also been disscussed. The experimental results were in good agreement with the theoretical predictions of the proposed current equations.
