Abstract: In this research a technique for the process of ABO3 supported on γ-Al2O3 was proposed, in which the modified carrier was adopted and the citric acid complexing sol-gel method was used. By means of this technique, the activity for SO2 reduction over LaFeO3/γ-Al2O3 is as high as that over non-supported catalyst. The substitution of Sr for La and Cu, Co for Fe decreased the activity of the catalyst, especially when the reaction temperature was low.
