Abstract: SrFeCo0.5O 3.25+δ (SFC) ultrafine powders with appropriate dispersibility and sintering properties were synthesized by glycine-nitrate-process (GNP) method and used for the preparation of oxygen permeation membrane. Compared with those of SFCmembranes synthesized by conventional solid-state reaction method, the phase structure, microstructure, conductivity and oxygen permeation properties of the SrFeCo0.5O 3.25+δ ceramic membrane material were studied. The results revealed that the SrFeCo0.5O 3.25+δ system mainly consisted of perovskite and layered phases. Its oxygen permeation flux is about 1.2×10-8mol·cm-2 ·s-1 in air/helium gradient at 950 ℃, which is higher than that of sample prepared by solid state reaction method.
