Abstract: Five novel amldate crown ethers were deslgned and synthesized.The structures of all the compounds synthesized are characterized by elementary analysis, IR, MSand 1HNMR spectroscopy.The liquld crystal properties of three compounds 4-6 have been characterized by DSC.
