Abstract: We now report the syntheis here in a full account of 5-fluoro-4-deoxy-β-L-uridine. The structures of compounds were identified by the MS, UV, IR, 1H NMR spectra and elemental analyses. It is of interest to sythesize the L-nucleosides in anticipation of promising antiviral agents.
