Abstract: In order to search for the highly efficient and low toxic pyrethroids, sixteen novel compounds were synthesized by reaction of 1-aryloxy-4-chloro-2-butyne with pyrethroid acid. Their structures were confirmed by 1H NMR, IR, elementary analysis or MS. The preliminary bioassays of all compounds indicated that four of them, B1, B2, B4 and B6, showed high insecticidal activity to mosquito larva.
