Abstract: TiO2 nanofibers were synthesized by electrospinning technique and used as the template to fabricate branched Ag-TiO2 composite.  The as-prepared Ag-TiO2 composites were characterized by X-ray diffraction and electron microscopy analysis techniques.  The photocatalytic activities of as-prepared branched Ag-TiO2 composite were measured with the degradation of active methylene blue(MB).  Results show that the as-prepared branched Ag-TiO2 composite exhibited higher photocatalytic activity in comparison with TiO2 nanofibers and commercial TiO2 P25.
