Abstract: N, N-Diethyldithiocarbamate (dtc) as a ligand can combine with both molybdenum and the rare-earth elements to form dinuclear coordination complexes [Mo (dtc)4][Ln (dtc)4](Ln=La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho and Er). Their redox properties and the electrochemical characteristics were studied.

Key words: Cyclic voltammetry, Spectroelectrochemistry, Molybdenum, Rare-earth, Dithiocarbamate
