Synthesis and Antitumor Activity of Peptidyl-N1-Hydroxymethyl-5-Fluorouracil

Abstract: Six hydrophobic peptidyl 5-FUprodrugs and four amino acid derivatives of 5-FU (Val, Leu, Phe, Gly) were synthesized.All of these new compounds were characterized by UV, IR,1H NMR and elementary analysis.The antitumor activity of these compounds were tested against EACcells in vitro.
