Abstract: The new reductive reaction in the system of titanates of α-keto carboxylic acids and Li reagents has been further investigated.Aseries of alcohols and phenols was introduced to examine the change of the ratios of additions.It is concluded that phenols increase the ratios of additions remarkably.
