Abstract: By measurements of cyclic voltammetry and current efficiency, the anodic oxidation behavior of Cr3+ at PbO2,graphite and Pt electrodes was studied. It is found that PbO2 is a higher active electrode material for Cr3+ oxidation. The effect of addition of Ag+,Mn2+,Co2+ on Cr3+ oxidation was also explored. The results indicate that the electrocatalysis of Ag+ is very obvious.

Key words: Cr3+, Electrooxidation, Eletrocatalysis, Cyclic voltammetry, Current efficiency
