Abstract: Poly(2,5-di-n-butoxybenzene)exhibits a strong fluorescence in the blue regions. The effects of temperature have been studied carefully. We found an anomalous temperature dependence of fluorescence spectrum of poly(2,5-di-n-butoxybenzene).When the temperature increases from 77 to 373 K,the intensity of fluorescence increases 30%.The temperature variations should have an effect on conformation of poly(2,5-di-n-butoxybenzene)from linear to coil. The coil conformation limits the exciton motile in a small region and decreases the trapping of exciton.
