Simulaneous Spectophotometric Determination for Multicomponent Phenols Compounds by Partial Least Squares Method

Abstract: Paradioxybenzene, resorcinol, pyrogallol and paranitrophenol can react with copper(Ⅱ)and pyridine to from stable ternary complexes, and the ternary chromogenic system has been studied. Principle of partial least squares was introduced. Results of simultaneous determination for multicomponent phenols compounds in mixed samples and environmental samples were predicted spctrophotometrically by partial least squares method.Predictive results and recovery are satisfactory.
