Abstract: Caged bicyclic phosphates would be a new type of pesticides because of their unusual mode of bioaction Also they would be widely used as fire-proofing agents, resin-stabilizers and oil-adductsAs a part of our continuing investigation, other thirteen new derivatives of bicyclic phosphate 4a-n were synthesized by the reaction of 1-oxo-1-phospha-2, 6,7-trioxabicyclo[2,2,2]-4-chlorocarbonyl octane 3 with mercaptans, ethanolamine, ethylene amine, and heterocyclic compoundsAll the compounds were confirmed by elemental analysis, IR and 1H NMR Through studying the spectra of compound 4j, we infered its possible structureThe MSspectra of some compounds were discussedIt is indicated that higher thioesters have the same bi-rear-rangement as usual estersThe preliminary biological tests show that compound 4j has a bactericidal activity.

Key words: Caged bicyclic phosphate, Heterocyrlic compound, Mercaptan, Amide
