Influence of the Heteropoly Acid Structure on the Oxidative Dehydrogenation of Ethylbenzene

Abstract: We have first studied the catalytic behaviour of H6P2W18O62 and compared with H2PW12O40 in the oxidative dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene to styrene. The interesting results were obtained. The shorter increasing time of activity can be related to the more unpair electrons of carbonaceous material on the surface.
