Abstract: Copper (Ⅱ)-M(Ⅱ) heterobinuclear complexes of the schiff base derived from 3-formylsali-cylic acid and trimethylenediamine, CuMTS · 2H2O(M = Zn,Co,Fe,Mn, Mg), were synthesized. AHthese compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV-visible spectra and room tem-preture magnetic moments. In DMSO, the electrochemical properties of this species were examined by cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse polarography and DCpolarography. The relationship between properties and structures was studied.
