Abstract: This paper reports our recent study for the spectroelectrochemistry of hemoglobin at bare silver electrodes using a self made long optical path UV/Visible thin layer spectroelectrochemical cell. By this cell, the electron transfer number( n =1.04), the adsorbance ( Γ = 8.95×10-14 mol/mm2) and the formal redox potential( E0'=0.14 V) of hemoglobin at bare silver electrodes were studied.
