Abstract: The separation properties of ethanol-water mixture through polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)membranes filled with silicalite-Ⅰtreated under steam, in which the zeolite particle size is 15 μm and 5μm, as well as acid treated silicalite-Ⅰ filled with different type silicone rubber membanes have been studied. The results show that the decrease of zeolite particle size is not favourable to the selectivity of ethanol-water mixture and the separation properties of ethanol-water mixture through different type of silicone rubber membrane filled with acid leached silicalite-Ⅰare related to the property of silicone rubber itself.
