Abstract: Some polymeric diethylenetriamine/Cu(Ⅱ) complexes supported by porous crosslinked poly (methyl acrylate) were synthesized as the adsorbents for urea and their properties in adsorbing urea were studied. The results showed that the polymeric complexes adsorbed urea through coordinate bond of urea to the centric ion.The largest capacity of the complexes was determined as 71.5 mg/g when the adsorption was performed at 28℃ in the urea solution with concentration of 130 mg/dLin a buffer of NaH2PO4-Na2HPO4(pH=7.0).
