Abstract: The title complexes, Cu2L(ClO4)C2H5OH·H2O, Ni2L(ClO4)·4H2O(Lis the macrocyclic ligand) were synthesized from N-oxide-2, 6-diformylpyridine and Ⅰ, 3-propanediamine by using Cu(Ⅱ) ions and Ni(Ⅱ)ions as the templating metal ions.The new compounds were characterized by elementary analysis, 1R, ESRand magnetism.
