Abstract: Anovel and sensitive microgravimetric biosensor has been developed by using actinomycin Dfunctionalized magnetic nano-microspheres, which can be intercalated in duplex strands DNAs on the gold electrode of a quartz crystal microbalance. These modified nano-microspheres have been used as the amplified label for microgravimetric signal owing to their heavy mass. The linear range for the determination of target DNAis from 10-9 to 10-11 mol/L, and the detection limit is found to be 2×10-12mol/L.
