Abstract: The salt effect of dipole moment was measured by the small capacity condenser for formic acid-calcium chloride, acetic acid-calcium chloride and water-calcium chloride. It is found that the apparent dipole moment or salt effect-dipole moment changed due to the salt effect in the single solvent-salt solutions.Because of the change of salt concentration, the dipole moment diverges from the values in the pure solvent.
