Abstract: The ZSM-5 and its larger single crystals were crystallized hydrothermally from Pr3N-SiO2-AS2O3-H2O-HF (Pr3N=tripropylamine) system. The scanning electron microscopy and electron probe microanalysis show that the morphology of ZSM-5 crystals was influenced by A! contents and the crystal nuclei were first produced from the gel enriched in silicon.Tripropylamine molecules in the protonated from are occuluded in the chanels. The numbers of organic template molecules per unit cell are 4.15.

Key words: Moiecular sieve, ZSM-5, Tripropylamine, HydrothermaJ crystallization
