Abstract: The UV-Vis spectra, Infrared spectra and resonance Raman spectra of tetra(para-chlorophenyl)porphyrin and its coordination compounds LnT(%p%-Cl)PPOH(Ln; Tb, Lu, Er, Gd) were measured and investigated respectively. In UV-Vis spectra the effect of rare earth ions were discussed. Metal sensitive bands in IR spectra were found, and the effect of metal ion size on the marker bands frequencies in resonance Raman spectra was also discussed.
