ansa-Metallocene Complexes(Ⅳ)——Synthesis, Structure and Application in Ethylene Polymerization of Sila-bridged Substituted Cyclopentadienyl Titanium and Zirconium

Abstract: Tetramethyldisilane-bridged substituted cyclopentadienyl ligands react with n-butyl lithium and MCl4·2THFto give tetramethyldisilane-bridged substituted cyclopentadienyl metallocene dichlorides(Me2SiSiMe2)(C5H4R)(C5H4R')MCl2[R=H, R'=t-Bu, M=Ti(1), Zr(2), Hf(3); R=H, R'=Me, M=Ti(Ê); R=R=Me, M=Ti(5), Zr(6)]. Complexes 16 were characterized by 1H NMR, mass spectra and elemental analyses. The crystal structure of 1 was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The complexes 1_3 and 6 were used for the polymerization of ethylene after activation with methyl aluminoxane(MAO).
