Abstract: Cellulose-tris(3, 5-dimethylphenylcarbamate) was prepared and immobilized onto a mesopore spherical aminopropylated silica gel.The final product was used as a chiral stationary phase for the enantioseparation of a series of glycerin sulfides and glycerin selenides. Some enantiomers of the monosulfides and monoselenides could be separated satisfactorily, but the bisulfides could not at all.The structural characteristic of the samp1es that influence chiral discrimination was disscused. The effect of 2-propanol concentration in the mobile phase on the retention and resolution was also investigated.
