Abstract: We studied the binding interaction between hematoporphyrin(HP) and bovineserum albumin (BSA) in solution with flourescence method. The binding constant is KA 2.2×104 and the number of binding site is 1.With the Forster non-radio energy transfer theory,we calculated the distance beween energy donor and receptor as well as the energy transferefficiency in the binding reaction.Furthermore, we studied the interaction between severalions(cations and anions) and BSA.The order of quenching ability of these ions is; Cr(Ⅵ)>Fe3+>Cu2+>NO2->Br-,and the competing reaction for BSA between the ions and HPisdiscussed. We tried to illustrate the possible effect of the ions on the transfer and absorptionof HPin the process of cancer photochemical treatment.
