Abstract: The formation of micelles and vesicles of hydrocarbon and fluorocarbon surfactants mixtures has been studied by using the surface tension method,TEMand DSC.It wasshown that the fluorocarbon alcohol increased the surface activity and decreased the micellecounterion binding degree when mixed with cationic surfactants. Both the mixed anionic-cationic surfactant system and the mixed fluorocarbon alcohol-cationie surfactant systemcould all form vesicle, but it was more difficult for the latter to do so.The fluorocarbonchin made the peak temperature of phase inversion higher and the range broader. The sizeof polar group of surfactant affects the stability of vesicle to the certain content.
