Studies on the Extraction Mechanism of Molybdenum by Primary Amine N1923 in Kerosene

Abstract: The extraction of Mo(Ⅵ)by primary amine(abbreviated as N1923 or RNH2)in kerosene has been investigated.The effects of pHof the aqueous phase and temperature on this extraction process have been examined. The composition of extracted compound has been determined by equimolar series method, molar ratio method and saturation experiment.The infra-red spectra of the organic phase have also been studied.The mechanism of extraction is discussed.
