Abstract: The morphology and optical property of ringed spherulites of nylon1010and its formation conditions have been studied by a polarizing microscope. In isothermal crystalization process, only positive ringed spherulites can be formed. In cooling process, positive, negative and mixed ringed spherulites are formed from the nonringed spherulites with the same optical property. In heating process, mixed and positive ringed spherulites can be transformed into 6-sectional and assymmetric 4-sectional ringed spherulites, and negative nonringed ones are changed into another kind of negative ringed spherulites.
