Abstract: In the course of investigation on the extractions, ten novel solid complexes formed by combining the anions of tetrabromoindate(Ⅱ) or tetraiodoindate(Ⅱ) with the complex cations of potassium or sodium ion with benzo-15-crown-5 or dibenzo-18-crown-6 were synthesized. The complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectra and thermal analyses. In addition, in comparison with the relevant structural characters of the complexes of alkali metal pi-crates with crown ethers, some differences between the two types of the extraction systems were explanined reasonably.
