Abstract: The thermal behavior and stability of the, title materials (CEP) were studied by means of TMA, DSC, and TG/DTG. The results show that the softening temperature of them is increased with the increase of chlorine content. In the case of the same chlorine content, the CEP with higher content of propylene component has a higher softening temperature and a higher activation energy of dehy-drochlbrination. Their thermal stability can be effectively improved by. adding stablizers in them.
