STM Studies of C60 Coalescence Induced by UV Radiation

Abstract: C60 molecule was adsorbed on the Au(111)surface and irradiated with UVlight.The coalescence under the UVradiation was followed by STMin situ. According to the STMobservation, the coalesced products have larger cages and finally form a film.
