The Study of Hydrogen Bonding Reaction Between 2,4-Dichlorophenol and Pyridine by Thermometric Titration

Abstract: The authors have investigated the titled complex react ion.The result is in agreement with that of the infrared spectroscopy work.The reaction enthalpy △H=-21.0±0.2 kJ/mol,the equilibrium constant k=31±3 L/mol(at 20.0℃ and normal pressure).In addition, the authors have discussed the experiment design and given a new data processing methed for this sort of experiments.
