Synthesis and Structure of Dinuclear Copper(Ê) Complex with Nitronyl Nitroxide Biradical [Cu(hfac)2]2PhBNOM

Abstract: Dinuclear copper complex with biradical, [Cu(hfac)2]2PhBNOM[PhBNOM=2,5-bimethoxyl-1,4-bis(4,4,5,5-tetramethyllimidazoline-1-oxyl-3-oxide)phenyl, hfac=hexafluoroacetylacetonate], has been synthesized and characterized. It crystallized in the monoclinic system; space group C2/c with a = 1.8773(8) nm, b =1.3598(5) nm, c =2.2371(7) nm, β =97.24(3)°, Z =4, R = 0.0961 , Rw=00944 .
