Abstract: Thirteen new solid complexes have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductivity, IRspectra, UVspectra, thermoanalysis, fluorescence spectra etc. The stoi-chiometry of complexes are CP[Y(BPMPPD)2]·5H2O, CP[La(BPMPPD)2] 2H2O, and CP[Ln (BPMPPD)2] (Ln = Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb). The results of ther-moanallysis show that the decomposition temperature of the coordination compounds has the "tetraef-fect". The hypersensitive transition of Pr, Nd, Ho, Er, Tm complexes and characteristic fluorescence of Sm, Eu, Tb, Dy complexes have been studied.
