Abstract

Abstract: The effect of Li⁺ ion on the metastable zone width and the nucleation characteristic parameters of K₂SO₄ aqueous solution were invesigated.It was found that the metastable zone widths were increased in the presence of Li⁺ .The influence of Li⁺ on the metastable zone width may be a result of its effect on the specific surface energy δ₁₂ and the nucleation energy G(r^*).
