Abstract: The electrochemical and electrocatalytic properties as well as the structures of MP-11 in the solution without and with 20% methanol were compared by using the electrochemical and Circular dichroism methods. It was found that in the presence of methanoLIn the solution, the reversibility of the electrochemical reaction and electrocatalytic activity of MP-11 for the reduction of H2O2increase because in the presence of methanoLIn the solution, the exposure extent of heme in the MP-11 molecule increases, the contents of the α-helix and β-turn structures increase and the content of the random coil structure decreases in the MP-11 molecule.
