Hydrothermal Synthesis and Structure of A Novel [Co(phen)(μ3-md)]n

Abstract: Anovel 1-Dcompound, [[Co(phen)(μ3-md)]n] n, was hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, elemental analysis and IRspectra.This compound was crystallized in monoclinic system, space group P2/C with a=0.8329(18) nm, b=1.04135(11) nm, c=1.8348(5) nm, β=100.436(18)°, Dc=1.706 mg/cm3, R1= 0.0379, wR2=0.0866. The 1-Ddouble-chain structure of the title compound is formed by benzene-1,3-dicarboxylate connected with three Co atoms.
