Linear Viscoelasticity Calculation of Exfoliated Polymer/Layer Silicate Nanocomposites

Abstract: The linear viscoelasticity of polymer/layer silicate nanocomposites was calculated on the basis of dual constraint model. It was suggested that the increase of elasticity of nanocomposites at a low frequency was due to the long relaxation mode of tethered polymer chain.
