Abstract: The effects of monomer ratio, temperature, conversion, and feeding modes on the glass transition temperature of VC/PMI copolymer were investigated on the basis of the structure and the feature of copolymerization process. The relationship between glass transition temperature and conversion was predicted by using sequence model and was nearly in agreementwith the experimental data. Portionwise feeding can improve the heat-resistant properties of the copolymer, but lead to worse particle properties.
