Studies on Syntheses and Spectral Character of Bis[N,N'-alkylene-2,2-(arylmethylene)bis(3,4-dimethyl pyrrole-5-aldimino)] Dimanganese(Ⅱ) and Their Biomimetic Catalytic Character for the Monooxygenation of Cyclohexane with PhIO

Abstract: This paper first reports the syntheses and spectral character of bis[N,N'-alkylene-2,2-(phenylmethylene)bis(3,4-dimethylpyrrole-5-aldimine)](alkylenes: 1,3-propylene; 1,4-butylene; 1,2-phenylene; 4-methyl-1,2-phenylene), bis[N,N'-(1,2-ethylene)2,2-(4-methoxyphenylmethylene)bis(3,4-dimethylpyrrole-5-aldimine)] and their dimanganese(Ⅱ) complexes as well as the biomimetic catalytic properties of the complexes for the monooxygenation of cyclohexane with PhIO.
