ESR Study on the Interfacial Interaction Between Metal Oxide and Poly(N,N-dimethylaniline)

Abstract: The interfacial interaction between several metal oxides and poly(N,N-dimethylaniline)(PDMA) was investigated by ESR. Especially in Fe2O3/PDMA system, it is shown obviously that an electron-transfer process occurred from nitrogen atoms of PDMAto Fe2O3 which made PDMA form more stable radical cations and Fe(Ⅲ) turn into Fe(Ⅱ).
